From Ashley... Baby Hal's shower was not your everyday "cake n' punch" event or a stodgy afternoon tea. Instead, this "grown-up partea" included lots of bubbly {champagne for the guests + sparkling cider for the mummy-to-be}, a tea-quila station and more fun than a Sunday afternoon can handle!
We tailored all the decor around the client's chosen theme of "Vintage French Circus," creating a fanciful & playful environment filled with special touches & joyous moments including the hand-made matchstick boxes & paper caps {which were a big hit with the fellas}, vintage children's books, toys and flashcards and even an antique Corona typewriter with a personalized message to "King Hal." {Our mummy-to-be's favorite game was the wooden chicken pecking paddle & ball.}
The menu included an artisan fruit & cheese display, bite-sized tea sandwiches, French macarons, tri-berry and rose vanilla petit fours.
Guests sipped their beverages of choice from vintage highball glasses, tea cups & champagne coups and listened to French music played on an authentic phonograph or relaxed in the sunshine on the outdoor "king's throne" lounge.
