From Sarah... This shower was for my dear friend Millie who is having her third child and first girl! I co-hosted with my fabulous friend (and master seamstress!) Elizabeth.
Naturally, we wanted the girliest shower known to man. We decided to do a pancake brunch—much like this fabulous pancake brunch featured on DesignSponge—and were also inspired by the awesome invitations we got from Sara at Less Ordinary Design. We wanted to use lots of frilly, feminine florals and lucky for us that seemed to be exactly what our local fabric store Hancocks of Paducah had on sale that week. We cleaned them out and used all the material to make matching cloth napkins, coordinating bibs and bloomers for decorations (all sewn by Elizabeth!), a wreath, and little fabric corsages for all the guests. We also made cinnamon chocolate scone mix in mason jars for favors and added the fabric to the top of the jars.

I love using the bibs and bloomers as decoration! Pancake parties are so much fun, and I love how girly this one is.
I think your blog is really interesting
