Thursday, August 11, 2011

This new photo booth trend is definitely a keeper! I not only love the fun photo props and backdrops, but most importantly, that these baby shower moments are captured for years to come. Thankfully, Corey of Corey Villicana Photography sent me these adorable photos as well as a tutorial for the "This Way to the Photo Booth" sign. Grab your pencils... you're going to want to jot down some notes after seeing Corey's pictures and reading her instructions below. I did!

From Corey... Here are The Easy To Follow Instructions For Creating Your Own Vintage Photo Booth Sign! Please enjoy!

Materials:
Thin piece of wood
Decorative paper
Matte finish adhesive
Paper doilies
White Paper

Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Find a piece of thin wood or some sort of a hard surface to use as the backing of the sign.
2. Decide on which type of decorative paper you would like to cover the wood/ hard surface in.
3. Using matte finish adhesive, adhere the decorative paper directly to the hard surface.
Coat both the top and the bottom of the paper in a generous amount of your selected adhesive.
4. Add paper doilies or other such decoration to the sides of the sign.
5. Custom create the actual signage in a photo editing program such as Picnik, and adhere to the top of the decorative paper.
6. Hang and enjoy!
