I always love the designs PLUS photography that I receive from the fabulous duo of Marie from Sweets Indeed and Shannon from The Pixel Studio. And this baby shower is no exception! Perfect for a Jack & Jill celebration, since there is just a hint of baby with small buttons appearing throughout the decor and "bun in the oven" favors. And... I'm sure you'll mouth will begin watering as soon as you glimpse over the YUMMY desserts from Vanilla Bake Shop. They ALL look SO delicious!
From Marie... There are a lot of fun details. We had the honor of designing the dessert and beverage stations for this baby shower. The mommy-to-be was a previous bride of our's and we are always thrilled to have fabulous, repeat clients. The theme/feel of the shower was picnic meets Americana. This wasn't an over saturated baby theme but we love tying in little details here and there. The daddy-to-be calls the mommy-to-be his "button" so we tied in some button details as well. We hand crafted all the decor elements and made flavor tags out of paper medallions. The props are from our inventory and we got to debut our new flower cart piece which of course, we use for candy stations! We love and use Porch Pies any chance we get and each guest went home with one of their delicious, buttermilk pies. I also found this adorable "bun in the oven" favor box from Dry White Toast on etsy. They are personalized specifically for your event. We ordered little cutie cakes from Half Baked Co. to go in each oven.
We also love Vanilla Bake shop and called upon them to make the dessert items. Southern Banana Pudding shots are always a hit and they added edible button details to the Vanilla Bean and Chocolate mini cupcakes. We also used Raspberry Jamble and Peanut Butter bars and of course, as requested, Red Velvet Cake Pops dipped in red sanding sugar. Mommy and Daddy went home with a mason jar full of their favorite candy.
For the beverage station we decorated mason jars that could be filled with iced tea or strawberry lemonade and displayed them on an old fashioned pie rack. The guests were welcome to take a mason jar home with them. Classic Coca Cola (dad's favorite), baby diaper decorated water bottles, beer, wine and belini's were also available.
We had a lot of fun putting this together and cannot wait for the little one's first birthday.
