This outdoor soirée, styled and designing by Events by Sarah Elizabeth, is overflowing with stunning linens, gorgeous flowers and yummy sweets. I am 100% smitten with this styled bridal shoot and think it will easily translate into a lovely girl or boy baby shower! Thankfully, every detail is beautifully captured by the talented Jim Heine, allowing us to take away some great tips and ideas -- such as the make your own fruit kabobs. Love this!
From Sarah Elizabeth... Last week I FINALLY did my first styled shoot, part of Best Wedding Sites vendor challenge! When Brenda contacted me about being part of the vendor challenge I was a little nervous, I'd been putting off doing a styled shoot because it meant putting myself out there on a new level & I wasn't sure if I was ready for that! However, she gave me the kick in the pants that I needed & I forged ahead pulling together an awesome team of vendors! With the guidelines of creating a bridal shower using the colors bubble gum pink, mint green & robin's egg blue I set out to pull everything together!
The week before the shoot I received my order of vintage blue mason jars from Nicole at The Caramel Jar, upon receiving those I fell in LOVE & knew the direction I wanted to head with this shoot. From there I hit up my hot spots Home Goods & Target! :) I love stores that have ecclectic collections because it allows my mind to wander & brainstorm.
Once I determined the direction I wanted to head with the shoot I knew exactly where I wanted to hold it - Terrain. It is this GREAT boutique garden/nursery shop here in the suburbs of Philly & was actually started by the founder of Urban Outfitters! Every time I walk into that store I hear my credit card singing! :)
The dessert table was so much FUN because after the shoot we got to EAT everything! I still have some chocolate covered pretzels in my pantry - delicious! We created a great little make your own fruit kabob station - I love these at bridal showers, refreshing & fun!
