Friday, March 25, 2011

I just had someone write me on Facebook looking for help with personalized water bottle labels, which you see EVERYWHERE. So... I thought this would make a wonderful DIY tutorial! And... why not throw in some FREE DOWNLOADS. Woo Hoo! This is such a quick and easy way to tie in your theme with an ordinary bottle. I've also seen people wrap IZZE bottles, soda bottles, wine bottles and even Italian sodas. Sky's the limit.

I make these all of the time in Photoshop! They're so easy to do and people go crazy over them.

One thing to remember-- the ink will run if they get wet! I laminate mine before attaching them to the bottle.

Great templates-- thanks!

Would certain kinds of better-quality wrapping paper work?

I suggest the better quality paper because it is heavy enough to compare with printer paper.

Never thought to use high quality wrapping paper... Good idea! Probably would work great. You could also use scrap book paper.

They sell 8 1/2 x 11 sheets of labels. You can print on them as if it were reg paper. Peel and wrap not bottle. They also sell water resistant ones. I found them at Staples.
