Baby Shower Idea: Milk and Cookies Bar

From Debbie... Wants and Wishes teamed up with Ruffle Fabric for this baby shower- Milk and Cookies Bar. Cookies are the up and coming trend with the Momofuku's Milk Bar and this Mommy to be wanted all things cookie. We made Oatmeal cookies with craisins and mini white chocolate chips, Momofuku's Blueberry & Cream Cookies, the classic cookie- chocolate chip and Cookies & Cream cupcakes. We wanted a simple, sweet, chic and delicate shower to spread love to this mommy to be. We incorporated hearts as the "chocolate chips" in the chocolate chip cookie banner. I loved the ruffle backdrop as it made me think of smooth white milk. This added the touch of softness the table needed. My inspiration for this shower was the cookie trend and I wanted to the mommy to be feel loved... baked with love became our secondary theme as we incorporate hearts in everything. The "chocolate chips" in the cookie banner are hearts, heart beat on the flags and cupcake toppers as well as the cookie favors. My favorite part was the milk glasses rimmed with dipped chocolate and sprinkled with yellow non perils sprinkles.
