From the Girls at The Finishing Touch... There are so many fun and creative things to do with block letters. Enjoy!!
Decor: {1} Decorate in pastel blue, pink, green and yellow with accents of cream and white for a fresh look. {2} Decorate the room with fun block lanterns. {3} Use vintage toy blocks to create fun first words around the room. {4} Small centerpieces can be created with cube glass vases filled with lemons or limes for a spring touch. {5} You could also use baby block banks for centerpieces with some florals.
{6} Spell the name of the new baby (if known) in alpha blocks or in a hanging banner that is in the shape of blocks.
Food: {1} Have a dessert station with cookies and cupcakes decorated with blocks and individual mini block cakes in flavors of red velvet, butter cream and chocolate. {2} Have mini sandwiches and fruits and cheese cut into cubes.
Activities: {1} Favors can be chocolate blocks, spread knives with blocks on handle, block mint containers and even picture frames in the shape of a block. {2} Use the names of parents and the new baby in blocks on the invitation. {3} Have guests use real blocks for an "unscramble the word" game.
