Real Baby Shower: Baby Boy Garden Tea Party II

I know a little piece of us died and went to heaven when we saw Maegan's inspiration boards for her friend Alison's baby shower. And, after a little snack we are refreshed and ready to dive into the second phase of planning and crafting Alison's beautiful baby shower madness -- and, we promise this next little post of gorgeous-ness was well worth the wait! Maegan's upcoming photos are bursting with oh-so-many perfect garden tea party details -- we can almost smell the wonderful fruity teas and scones. But, don't think this celebration is your typical high-noon English tea. I know that when Elizabeth and I think of garden tea party, we have visions of lace, flowers, and fine floral china dancing in our heads. But, Maegan and Alison decided that this gathering wouldn't be too girly (considering Alison is going to have a little boy), or too "baby themed". And, well, after cruising through Maegan's design and crafting photos -- consider us completely smitten with their design concept! We are in LOVE (I mean, L-O-V-E) with the color palette and the modern table accents that are mixed with old-English country side charms. We think you'll agree that these touches will keep the tablescapes chic and yet completely approachable.  Oh, and don't forget to swing by in a little bit to see the final product!

From Maegan... Shown above are the elements I gathered and [used] to decorate [the tables, which were] my main focus of the event. [As you can see] I DIY'd place mats and coasters out of footy 
pajama fabric, using a large plastic salad bowl and plastic cup as my stencils. The material is white 
and dotted and has a bit of a grip and of course, is mostly {and hopefully} worn by kids and I liked 
the bit of irony there.
